Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sweet doe eyed Romeo was found hurt on the street. He was hurt and limping, not sure if he was kicked or hit by a car, but he was desperately looking for a nice human to help him. When we rescued him off the street he was so grateful he kept giving us kisses. So sweet!!! He is a good dog that follows our commands. Sit, stay, no, come...all the basics. He just has such soulful eyes. This cutie has such a long body we think he is a Dachshund and Chihuahua mix (chiweenie). So if anyone wants a sweet dog who appreciates all the love a permanent home can give him, this is your guy!
If you want to meet any of the New Life K-9 Rescue Dogs, we really need you to fill out an application FIRST. Click here to go to our application Complete each of the questions carefully, it really helps us understand you and your dog interests. We will not let anyone meet any of our dogs until we have reviewed your application. We saved these dogs so we are really invested in making sure their future families are just as committed as we are!!! We try to respond within 24 hours. (We are all volunteers and work full-time so we get back to you).
After we review your application and contact you, first we do a meet and greet with all members of your family including your dogs in a neutral place like a local park. If all goes well, we will do a home check and finalize the adoption.
We only place dogs in the Southern California area, if you are located elsewhere, please check your local shelters or other rescues that are in your area.
We charge an adoption fee of $275 for adult dog which is tax deductible. All our dogs are spayed/neutered and up to date on their vaccinations prior to adoption.
