Wally's Story...
One hot day I decided to go shopping at a local walmart(hence the silly name). They didn't appreciate me coming in to cool off so a nice lady took me home with her. I am a happy silly boy that just loves to romp and play, I love my foster mom and her kids and also love to tumble with my foster buddies. Not a whole lot bothers me...I just love life. Mom thinks I have lab and great dane in me and I will be a big boy when grown up. I am 12 weeks old and weigh 28 lbs. I was neutered this week, am on heartworm and flea prevention, am microchipped and will get my last shots next week and then can go to my forever home. I hope its with you. My adoption fee is 400.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wally, a Hartford Labrador Retriever/Great Dane puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Great Dane for sale in Hartford, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Great Dane puppy from a breeder in Hartford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hartford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hartford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Great Dane breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hartford paves the way for another one to be saved.
