Ziti's Story...
Hi! We are the Pasta Kittens. Just a short time ago we were trapped in a cage at the pound. It was no wonder we were scared and unsure what to do. Thankfully we were rescued and whisked away to the safety of a foster home. With so many changes in such a short time, we are still adjusting but are coming out of our shells more and more every day. Our names are Penne, Bowtie, Macaroni (Mac), and Ziti. I (Mac) am the only boy and a handsome little tabby who is brave, yet affectionate and gentle. My sister Penne is just the same way. Bowtie is the adventurer and the most playful of the group, while Ziti is the shyest and will need love and patience to adjust to a new home. We are all very docile when picked up. We get along very well together and would love to go to our forever home to be a buddy for another kitty. After such a rocky start in our early lives we would love the chance to provide endless love and entertainment for some lucky families.

Please call CARE @ (804) 288-9797 or apply online and ask our foster mom Kelsey all about us.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ziti, a Richmond Maine Coon kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Maine Coon kitten from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
