Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Chico is a young mixed breed, about a year old and weighs about 45 lbs. Chico was picked up when a neighbor called reporting that a dog was tied outside with no food or water in zero degree temperatures. To make it worse, his tether was tangled around a bunch of old junk and he couldn't even move. He was just sitting there in the cold. The owner was agreeable to letting us take him, as he said they didn't have any place else to keep him. Chico is a very friendly and outgoing dog, loves everyone and enjoys playing with our other dogs. He's a good looking boy with a sweet face and a pretty reddish-gold coat. He likes to snuggle on the couch and gives lots of kisses. He does tend to jump up on you when he greets you, but he is slowly learning to stay down. Chico is housetrained, crate trained, neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. Chico would make a wonderful pet for an active family. HHS. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
