Kenny's Story...
Kenny is a fluffy, gentle soul. He came to APRA when his previous owners were no longer able to provide care for him. They trusted us to find the right forever home for him. We are so glad they did! Kenny has been settling in well. Some of his new penmates have been enjoying sharing toys and napping with him. He has been doing well with people, but is a little shy. For that reason, we suggest a home that has older children. We look forward to Kenny making himself comfortable here. Not too comfortable, because we want him to settle in to forever in your heart!! If you would like to adopt, please visit Atlanta Pet Rescue's 'How to Adopt' page for adoption information, application form and adoption hours. Love the dog, but now is not the time to adopt? Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kenny, a Atlanta Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Atlanta, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Atlanta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Atlanta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Atlanta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Atlanta paves the way for another one to be saved.
