Zip's Story...
Zip-adee-doo-da! My name is Zip and I'm looking for a home to show me the bright side of life. I'm a dainty fellow with a huge heart! I find myself looking for a new home when my owner fell ill. Thankfully they cared enough about me to find a safe place like APRA to wait until I found my forever home. I've been through a lot of changes over the last few months, so I am a bit overwhelmed. My previous owners report that I am a vivacious and playful boy once I am confident. I am reportedly crate trained and love to amuse myself with stuffed animals and other fun toys. If you have room to have Zip squeeze in, come meet him today! If you would like to adopt, please visit Atlanta Pet Rescue's 'How to Adopt' page for adoption information, application form and adoption hours. Love the dog, but now is not the time to adopt? Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zip, a Atlanta Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Atlanta, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Atlanta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Atlanta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Atlanta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Atlanta paves the way for another one to be saved.
