Tike's Story...
I may be small but nothing gets by these ears, especially not Santas reindeer tapping on the roof! Just hope I get a stocking this year. I would love to have my family for Christmas and not have to spend another one all alone. I'm really a nice pup and I KNOW I'm on the good list, why dont I have my furever home yet? Tike is a cute Chihuahua blend who is only 3ys old and has a lot of living to do. He would love someone to go shopping with, play in the park and snuggle up to at night...or really anytime you'll let him. He recently arrived at the shelter and can be a little shy, he still is learning that humans are ok. But once in his presence, Tike warms right up to you, even rolls his belly up for a good belly rub and to guilt you in to picking him up and carrying him around. This little Tike will make a great addition, and he'll be sure to help around the house by cleaning up any and ALL crumbs. Who couldn't use such a helpful helper, especially around the holidays. Come by and check him out, it could be you that changes his life forever. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tike, a Atlanta Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Atlanta, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Atlanta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Atlanta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Atlanta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Atlanta paves the way for another one to be saved.
