Patty's Story...
Patty is an older dog, coming to us at the ripe age of 8. While you can see her age as she tries to maneuver around certain objects, she has the happiest face when it comes to giving her attention. She knew right away what it meant to jump into her crate, but couldn't manage to make her legs push her up, so she sat in front of it waiting for a little boost. She LOVES getting attention, and because she can't jump up and demand it, she's quite polite about requesting your loving. She's got a face that will brighten yours and a disposition that will melt your heart. Give this girl the chance she deserves for a family. If you would like to adopt, please visit Atlanta Pet Rescue's 'How to Adopt' page for adoption information, application form and adoption hours. Love the dog, but now is not the time to adopt? Why Adoption is a Great Option

Patty, a Atlanta Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Atlanta, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Atlanta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Atlanta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Atlanta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Atlanta paves the way for another one to be saved.
