Chucky's Story...
Chucky is one handsome fellow! He came to us from an outlying animal control facility and we are not quite sure how this cutie was passed up, but we are glad to have him here safe with us APRA. Chucky has the most beautiful black coat with a gorgeous silver undercoat, and green eyes that are simply stunning. He loves to be held and will purr when you pet him. He is a playful boy, but also has a calm sophistication like that of an old soul. Chucky is sure to make a wonderful addition to a loving forever home. If you would like to adopt, please visit Atlanta Pet Rescue's 'How to Adopt' page for adoption information, application form and adoption hours. Love the cat, but now is not the time to adopt? Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chucky, a Atlanta Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Atlanta, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Atlanta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Atlanta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Atlanta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Atlanta paves the way for another one to be saved.
