My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pepper is a 3 to 4 year old Border Collie x Aussie mix with a gorgeous thick, shiny coat. He is a medium energy dog with an off switch.Pepper rides well in the car and would enjoy hikes and some cuddling from his new family. He is quite social and would enjoy meeting new people and sharing adventures. Pepper walks well on leash and takes daily walks with the rest of the dogs in his foster home. He does alert bark if someone comes to the door. We don't know how he would be with small children so no children under 12. Pepper has too keen an interest in cats, so a home with no cats would be ideal.

He is fully house trained, knows some basic obedience commands, seems to get along well with most other dogs (with the exception of dominant male dogs) and loves to go places with his people. Pepper was turned into a high kill shelter. Lucky for Pepper there is a great group of volunteers nearby and he didn't have to spend much time there. Pepper is neutered, HW neg and on prevention. His vaccines are up to date and he is on flea/tick prevention. There is an application process.
