My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bubba's adoption fee is $250.

Hi there! I am a 3 lb., 10 - 11 year young Yorkshire Terrier mix. Nobody has told me I’m a senior, and I certainly do not act my age. I am still full of energy and LOVE everyone. I’m able to do stairs and I do them very quickly! I’m neutered and micro chipped, all my shots are up to date, and I recently had a dental (I don’t have any teeth left now, but that doesn’t stop me – I still eat just fine). I prefer soft food, with small kibble mixed in, but I will try to eat anything, even though I probably shouldn't! When I was younger, somebody must have pulled too hard on my leash, because I do have a compromised trachea, but that does not slow me down either, however I should always be walked with a harness to keep pressure off my throat.
I am house trained, but will use a pee pad if needed. I love to be outside making sure there is nobody or nothing in my yard that should not be there! I am a very social dog that loves car rides and being the centre of attention. I’m good with other dogs as long as they do not pester me too much, and if they do, I let them know to leave me alone! And the same with children - I love them, but they should be a little older, as I am very tiny, and could be inadvertently hurt easily. I sleep in bed with my foster parents, curled up in a ball for the night, but if I get too cold, I will slip under the covers for warmth. I am good if left home on my own - I do not need to be crated. Although I do bark, to get your attention, or to chase away the birds, it is a very soft bark, so does it doesn’t bother the neighbours!
I am looking for a loving home to live out my golden years – if you think we’d be a good match, please get in touch with the folks at Tiny Paws – they’d love to hear from you!
