My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Yankee. I wasn't always batting a thousand. When I first landed in the pound, I was pretty timid and didn't want to come out of the dugout. But soon a Red Collar Rescue foster came and took me home and now I know that people can be pretty swell! All the other dogs around seemed to be having fun, so one day I asked to join in the game -- now I'm having a blast with the other pups every day! I love playing with other small, mellow pups and am happy to meet new people too. It's universal - everyone who meets me quickly becomes my #1 fan.

I should be Sportsman of the Year the way that I behave on and off the field. I have a great manners and am so gentle. When I play, I'm not rough at all and I love a good chase around the bases. I really like walks (no strikes here!) and I'm learning about a good ball. I'm smart and gentle and love curling up for a snuggle after the seventh inning stretch.
