Jeff is a sweet, friendly and also well-behaved boy, definitely not a guard dog by nature. Jeff was his rescuer’s neighbor’s dog. Because of his sweet temperament, he was not good as a guard dog so the owners don’t like him and tied him outside their home without any proper care and shelter. He was only occasionally fed with table scraps. One day, poor boy was given to an Asian worker who planned on killing him and eat him.

Jeff’s rescuer was very worried of his safety and quickly drove to the worker’s home and paid him some money and took him back to his home. Jeff was super relieved and very happy to be at a home that really care and love him. The rescuer promised to find Jeff a loving home. Jeff loves to cuddle and enjoys playing with people. He is very playful and gets along well with other dogs and cats. Jeff is very well-behaved and is very good at following commands such as “sit”, ”wait” and “hands shake” etc.

We are looking for a home that will give Jeff all the love and attention he deserves and understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jeff, a Castro Valley Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Castro Valley, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Castro Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Castro Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Castro Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Castro Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
