My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

JC was left at a high kill shelter by his owner along with Jenny the other dog he lived with. This poor senior did not know why he was left at the shelter. JC is a handsome 8 year old Shepherd mix that weighs approx 80#. He knows his basic commands. JC is a very smart boy and is super affectionate!! JC gets along with dogs and cats. He would love a forever home that has a fenced yard that he can run and play in. He is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, on heart worm preventative as well as house and crate trained. JC would love to find a warm comfortable bed, good food, lots of love and a family to call his own for the rest of his life.

All dogs we rescue stay with us until they find their forever homes. We do not do same day adoptions. Adoption applications are only available at our adoption events. A home visit is required to ensure our dog is going to a safe environment and our dog gets along with your dog(s) and/or cat(s). We require all our dogs over the age of 1 year attend 1 obedience class (6 week session) outside the home. You must live within 1 hour of Birmingham, MI to adopt one of our dogs. Our adoption fee is $275.
