Jase's Info...

Jase's Story...
Adoption Pending. JASE is a very handsome 18 month old Yellow Lab male who would love to find a new home. He was abandoned, along with pal Onyx, and was found in some tall grass near a barn by one of this rescue's volunteers. He has since been vetted, vaccinated and neutered. He tested negative for heartworm. He weighs 63 pounds. His foster says that he is well-behaved and that he gets along with and enjoys playing with the other dogs at his foster home. He is crate trained. If you live in another state, don't let that stand in your way. We will work to transport Jase if it means he will have a good forever home. If you are another rescue group, we will waive the adoption fee but you can make a donation toward vetting at your discretion. The adoption fee will help our 501(c)3 non-profit rescue to cover at least part of the cost of the veterinary care he has received.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jase, a Union City Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Union City, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Union City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Union City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Union City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Union City paves the way for another one to be saved.
