Anya's Story...
So, our story is as old as the hills. Mom got thrown out of the home, got in the family way and was left to fend for herself as a pregnant single parent. We were born under someone’s deck and times were rough but a kindly person did feed mom and took the time to socialize us. We are now about 10 weeks old and are ready to tackle the world. Our names are Anya, Teaco and Jenna. We are incredibly fun-loving kitties that love to play and explore everything. Mega affectionate, we have so much to share and would love to have the chance to prove it to our new family. We get along very well with other kitties and are patiently waiting for that perfect family to spoil and pamper us. Please take a look at us, you won’t regret it, I promise.

Please call CARE @ (804) 288-9797 or apply online and ask our foster mom Connie all about us.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Anya, a Richmond Maine Coon kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Maine Coon kitten from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
