Nate's Story...
Hi, my name is NATE and I am an all-black seven year old SUPER SWEET male cat. I always LOVE to get ATTENTION and seem to NEVER GET ENOUGHT of your pets and chin rubs at any given time. I just absolutely love it!! In fact, if you have your hands full with something other than my fur, I will RUB ALL OVER you :-) If you like to BRUSH ME, I absolutely love that too! I am very affectionate and SO GENTLE and extremely WELL BEHAVED. I also get along very well with other cats so I won’t mind a furrever home with one, two, three or more cats. If you are looking for a faithful companion who likes to spend a lot of time close to you, I would love to become that special someone, receiving tons of cuddles from you! I am neutered, UTD on shots, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nate, a Long Beach Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
