My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Axil is a sweet boy who we believe is about a year old and weighs in at 55lbs. He is UTD on his shots and neutered. His markings are gorgeous, as you can see, and he turns heads everywhere he goes! Axil is definately a mix but what he is mixed with is still up for debate. He came to us from the Wasco shelter where he was slated to be put to sleep simply due to the overcrowding. The sweet boy gets along very well with all dogs he meets, big or small, and his best pal at the shelter was an 80lb male pit mix who he looks up to like a big brother (Titus is also in our rescue and available for adoption). Axil is crate trained, potty trained and walks well on leash (although he can pull when he gets over-excited, but then again who doesnt?!) Axil's foster mom thinks the world of this young, handsome fella. She refers to him as the perfect dog! He lives in his foster home with a female sibling who he could play with all day and all night. He has a solid routine and does well in all situations. Axil is a sensitive boy and feels just terrible is he upsets you for any reason. He is soft, thoughtful and considerate. He would do best in a home that will continue his positive reinforcement training and shower him with love and affection :) This big guy is a born athlete and can jump as high as 6-8 feet that we have whitnessed, maybe even more if he tried!! We introduced Axil to several puppies and he could'nt have done any better! He was so gentle and aware of their size it was adorable!! He would play bow and jump all over the place all while being extremely careful not to hurt the babies. Axil is a volunteer favorite and he is going to make the most amazing pet for some lucky family.... will you be his new family??? If you are interested in meeting our handsome fella, please complete an adoption application and someone will be in touch with you shortly after.
