Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DOB June 15, 2011.
This declawed calico girl is a mixture of adorable, sweet, and personality plus! She loves affection and attention and will often seek out her foster parents for both. She is happiest when being paid attention to and loves to follow her foster Mom around the house, happily settling herself into the midst of whatever may be going on in the hopes for attention to be showered in her direction or to be engaged in a bit of play time which she really loves! Marigold is also quite entertaining at times, asking for attention politely by raising herself up on her hind legs like a little bear which is just far too enchanting to ignore. Quiet and calm, she enjoys her mid-afternoon naps, gazing out a window to watch the world go by, and can often be found lazing on her back with all four paws in the air enjoying herself to the fullest.
Marigold is equally as pretty to gaze upon as the flower that she's named after. She found herself surrendered to a shelter after her family decided that they didn't want her anymore; and it was there that she waited, lonely in a cage for a whole month for someone to help her. Upon arriving in her foster home, she was understandably a bit nervous and apprehensive initially but quickly settled in as she came to the realization that she was safe.
Marigold is a plus-size girl at present and will need to be kept on a strict diet of weight-control food in order to assist her in shedding a few pounds. In addition, she is also experiencing some issues keeping her derriere as clean as it should be due to her current weight, so she does require daily assistance making sure she is clean. This is a beautiful, friendly, and gentle girl who will endear herself to you with all the love she has to offer.
We would ask that Marigold's forever home be relatively quiet in nature, and be without other pets and/or small children. Marigold is just a wonderful cat hoping to fully bloom with you in your loving home!
