My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The first two pictures are of Toby and the 3rd is of his Mom, Jazz. Toby and Jazz were surrendered after only a year....I have no idea why. They have no behavior problems, are mother and son, she's about two years old and he's just one as he was born last summer......We have had them for over a month to see if there was a good reason and there isn't. They both use their litter boxes, like to be petted, and are typical cats....So, in my opinion, other than maybe deciding she didn't want to be a cat owner any more (kitten had grown up and the "cute" stage was over) They are great cats. They are completely vetted also and we did update their shots as they were both due....so it was under a year that they were owned....
The can be adopted together or alone. But since they are Mom and son, it would be so nice to see them stay together. Toby has been with Jazz his whole life so they clearly get along.....Typical Mom, if he gets too playful, she still is his Mom and will swat him in to remind him who is in charge!! Typical Mom!! No matter how old we get Mom will still let us know who is the boss!!
You may obtain an online application by logging on to CatAdoptionRI.org or by emailing catadoptionteam@aol.com. We are also at the Providence Petco on most Sunday, with cats and kittens, from 10 am to 2 pm. We will not be there on holidays....All of the cats and kittens are placed with the Rhode Island State mandated proof of spay or neuter. In order to take your new cat or kitten home with you, there must be an approved application prior to any placement. Application approval is usually within 24-48 hours. We, at CATS, are very proud of all of the cats and kittens that we help facilitate finding new forever homes, and work very hard to make sure they are happy, healthy and well socialized. All of the cats and kittens are fed only a high end cat food. You may call East Bay Veterinary Care at 286 Maple Avenue, in Barrington, RI and ask for Rita Monday thru Thursday. The phone number is 401-247-1111 or you may call my cell phone at 401-440-9667. Hard copy medical records accompany each cat and kitten on adoption day as each cat or kitten is completely vetted prior to their placed. The policy is that all of our cats and kittens will be placed spayed or neutered, tested for feline aids/leukemia, and have all age appropriate shots. There will not be any placement of any cat or kitten that has not been spayed or neutered first. There will be no exceptions. This means that there is less out of pocket costs for people who adopt a cat or kitten from us and you will be in 100% COMPLIANCE WITH THE SPAY/NEUTER LAW TOO, which is so important to help combat the pet overpopulation crisis.
