Clove's Story...
Clove was allowed to roam free but never spayed. Naturally, by the time the humane officer was able to pick her up and bring her to the shelter, she was pregnant. She will be assessed by the vet to determine how far along and how many babies and how large they are. Poor girl. She is between 1 and 2 years old and at this time, large from her pregnancy, weighs between 50-55 pounds. She has not been trained to a leash, but she wants to please. She loves attention and yet she isn't pushy or demanding. She is meek and approaches when she is called or offered a treat. Clove shouldn't be in this situation, but people have failed her. Now there are decisions and tests and answers which the vet will help to determine. Updates will be posted as her story unfolds, but Clove is a good girl who deserves better!

Act quickly to adopt Clove. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.
