Panini's Info...

Panini's Story...
Panini was lying in a ditch beside a store and busy highway when someone saw her and thought she had been hit by a car. The humane officer was called to pick up this sweet dog and was relieved to find that she had not been hit and has no injuries at all. Panini is a little thin at about 35 pounds, but she is a young girl (about a year old) with a wonderful temperament. She likes everyone and meekly worms her way close to be petted. Yet she will lie down and entertain herself if you are busy rather than make demands. She likes cats, other dogs, and kids. She is a gentle dog who just wants to be loved. She will put her paw on your leg and look into your eyes to see if you are accepting. If so, she moves in for a snuggle. She's one who can easily win your heart with those big brown eyes. Come meet her and see for yourself!

Act quickly to adopt Panini. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Panini, a Cottageville Norwegian Elkhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Norwegian Elkhound for sale in Cottageville, or seeking a Norwegian Elkhound dog from a breeder in Cottageville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cottageville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cottageville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Norwegian Elkhound breeders who help with Norwegian Elkhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cottageville paves the way for another one to be saved.
