Remington's Story...
Remington is about one year old and weighs 107 pounds. He has a medium to long coat and is mainly a pretty red and white. He is a sweet and goofy boy who has no problem with using you as a paper towel to wipe his slobbers! Then he will flop over for a belly rub! He has been around kids and is fine with them. He was surrendered and has been given more space in which to live at the shelter. But he knows that the shelter is not his permanent home and is waiting for a loving family, maybe one with a large fenced yard and lots of treats! Remington doesn't jump up but will pull a bit on a leash. This young dog will be your best friend and companion for years to come. Who will give Remington the good life he deserves?

Act quickly to adopt Remington. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Remington, a Cottageville St. Bernard dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a St. Bernard for sale in Cottageville, or seeking a St. Bernard dog from a breeder in Cottageville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cottageville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cottageville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even St. Bernard breeders who help with St. Bernard rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cottageville paves the way for another one to be saved.
