Balboa's Info...

Balboa's Story...
Balboa is only 10 months old, so he is still playful and fun-loving. He is mostly white, but some tan speckles can be seen in his undercoat and he has some tan spots on his ears and around his eyes. He looks like a healthy boy at 58.4 pounds, and he will still get a little bigger. He met the lobby cats but backed away from them. Balboa will soon be neutered and then he will be introduced to other male dogs. The females he met in the lobby were met with a play bow. Balboa needs a little training in good manners, but he is a good-hearted fellow anxious to be your best friend and companion.

Act quickly to adopt Balboa. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Balboa, a Cottageville American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog for sale in Cottageville, or seeking a American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Cottageville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cottageville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cottageville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog breeders who help with American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cottageville paves the way for another one to be saved.
