Kim's Story...
Kim was recently returned to the shelter. She had been in foster care and the family thought about adopting her, but they had several other dogs and Kim didn't seem to be a good fit with the rest of the brood. They also realized that she is going to be a bigger dog than expected. Her litter is thought to be rotti and border collie mixes, and the other siblings were rescued. Kim would be about 14 weeks old now, so she needs someone to train her and to love her and to provide for her. She's a pretty girl who has had good care in her foster home. Now she is looking for a forever home.

Act quickly to adopt Kim. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kim, a Cottageville Rottweiler/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler/Border Collie for sale in Cottageville, or seeking a Rottweiler/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Cottageville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cottageville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cottageville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler/Border Collie breeders who help with Rottweiler/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cottageville paves the way for another one to be saved.
