Rosalyn's Story...
Rosalyn has a job to do at the moment, for she has four bouncing babies to feed and mother. But she will be available for adoption when her babies are older and go out on their own to forever homes as well. Rosalyn is about 3 years old and a schnauzer mix. She is a sweet girl who was trying to do the best she could in a world that didn't help her much. Thankfully, she kept her babies safe until someone brought them to the shelter. The little ones are growing and Rosalyn is taking good care of them. The puppies were born about February 4, so Rosalyn has not finished her momma job just yet. She deserves to be a pampered and spoiled dog herself in the near future.

Act quickly to adopt Rosalyn. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosalyn, a Cottageville Standard Schnauzer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Standard Schnauzer for sale in Cottageville, or seeking a Standard Schnauzer dog from a breeder in Cottageville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cottageville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cottageville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Standard Schnauzer breeders who help with Standard Schnauzer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cottageville paves the way for another one to be saved.
