Christa's Story...
Christa is one of several cats that came to the shelter as part of a seizure. Christa is still a little shy in her new surroundings, but she is a lovely girl. She is about a year old and has been spayed. She is a Siamese mix and has blue eyes. She is getting more used to her surroundings and to people. Give her a little time and a lot of love and she will be fine.

Act quickly to adopt Christa. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Christa, a Cottageville Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Cottageville, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Cottageville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cottageville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cottageville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cottageville paves the way for another one to be saved.
