Chase's Story...
Poor Chase! He was brought to the clinic as a very sick pup and diagnosed with parvo. But Chase fought back! Yet he survived only to be abandoned by his owner. After fighting so hard, he has no place to go home! Can someone help him to start life over again and make it better this time? Chase is only 4-5 months old and weighs 33 pounds. He has been given his rabies vaccine, DHPP-CPV vaccine, and bordetella vaccine. Chase is a puppy who has gone from being very sick and being confined while being treated for parvo to a puppy who feels so good and wants to run and play, but nobody came to take him out of the kennels. He's beginning to understand that potty is something you do outside, but he needs the usual repetition. Chase is a smart doggie, and he loves attention and treats. Who will give this sweet boy the life he deserves?

Act quickly to adopt Chase. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chase, a Cottageville Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Cottageville, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Cottageville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cottageville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cottageville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cottageville paves the way for another one to be saved.
