Hamlet's Story...
An older beagle ready to have babies any minute was lost and alone and needing help. She wandered into a home, and luckily, the residents were a nice family who cared. They reported the situation to the shelter, but they agreed to let the little momma-to-be stay and have her little ones and come to the shelter when they were older. The puppies, seven of them, were born on July 16, 2014. From the looks of the babies, there might have been more than one dad. Some look spaniel and beagle. Others look like dad might have been a border collie. Whatever their mix, mom is a sweetheart and the babies adorable. Hamlet is a black and white male with brown eyebrows. He has a wide white strip down his nose. These little pups are growing and changing and are going to be really nice doggies. They must stay at the shelter for another three weeks before they can leave mom. Mom is going to be adopted by the family who took her in, but her babies need forever homes.

Act quickly to adopt Hamlet. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hamlet, a Cottageville Beagle/Spaniel (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in Cottageville, or seeking a Beagle/Spaniel (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Cottageville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cottageville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cottageville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Beagle/Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cottageville paves the way for another one to be saved.
