Dizzy's Story...
When a nice lady came into the shelter saying that eight puppies had been dumped at her home, the staff wondered where they were going to put them! The shelter was full and overflowing. And yet some moving allowed them to accept these babies and keep them safe. Some of the puppies seem to be lab mixes and others seem to have something else, perhaps elkhound, in them. Maybe there were some different daddies for these little ones. The babies are 6 to 8 weeks old and came in weighing between 5 pounds and 5.7 pounds. They are so loveable and will be wonderful pets for some lucky family. Dizzy was the smallest pup at 5 pounds even. She has short hair and brown eyes. She's a pretty tan color but has some white toes on her right foot. She didn't like the camera, but she liked being held and petted. Don't miss these sweet little ones!

Act quickly to adopt Dizzy. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dizzy, a Cottageville Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Cottageville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Cottageville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cottageville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cottageville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cottageville paves the way for another one to be saved.
