Beowulf's Story...
Beowulf is a sibling to Brogan and Bojangles, but his dad was likely a hound. Beowulf is a shiny black and tan pup about 5-7 months old and weighing 24 pounds. All of these siblings are as sweet as can be, little love bugs. They haven't had toys or had people spend a lot of time with them, but they warm up quickly when they see they are going to be treated well. They deserve a good home where they will be supervised and kept safe. Please take a look at these good dogs who would like to be your faithful companions for years to come!

Act quickly to adopt Beowulf. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Beowulf, a Cottageville Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Cottageville, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Cottageville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cottageville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cottageville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cottageville paves the way for another one to be saved.
