Rolex's Story...
Rolex came in with Remi and Ritz. He and Remi are about the same age, between 2 and 3 years. Could they be brother and sister? Maybe. Could Ritz be Remi's grown pup? Maybe. But we can only guess. They all do look alike. Rolex has a little more white in his face than Ritz has, but they both have that pretty dappled look to their coats. Rolex is a very friendly dog even though he doesn't know where he is and why he isn't allowed to roam free any longer. His tail wags and wags and wags. Rolex weighs between 35-40 pounds and loves people, especially people with treats and people who will pet him. These dogs seem submissive and would be lap dogs given the opportunity. Rolex would love to please his people, so he is ready to impress. Come meet this sweet boy!

Act quickly to adopt Rolex. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rolex, a Cottageville Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Cottageville, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Cottageville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cottageville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cottageville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cottageville paves the way for another one to be saved.
