Haiku's Info...

Haiku's Story...
Haiku was living under a trailer across from a golf course. The trailer had little underpinning, but it was the best shelter he had. Haiku hasn't been taught to walk on a leash, for he roamed around without boundaries and at will. He likes people and is friendly, so if someone puts a leash on him and calls him, he comes. Haiku is about a year old and weighs between 65 and 70 pounds. He will be assessed further after he gets used to his new surroundings, but he seems to be a nice dog who has had little attention, love, and training. He deserves better and is a young dog who will respond well. Stop by, say hello, and see for yourself.

Act quickly to adopt Haiku. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Haiku, a Cottageville Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Cottageville, or seeking a Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Cottageville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cottageville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cottageville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cottageville paves the way for another one to be saved.
