Kapone's Info...

Kapone's Story...
Kapone and his brother Alonzo came in together, and the staff suspects they may be siblings to Bellatrix. All are about the same age, but the boys are a little bigger than she is. Kapone is black with a little bit of white on his chest. Alonzo is a dark chocolate color without the white that Kapone has. These boys are between 12-14 weeks old. Kapone weighs 22 pounds and Alonzo 25 pounds, so they are going to be medium to large dogs when they grow up. Right now they play and play and then want to cuddle or find a soft bed and take a nice nap. They love coming to the lobby in the shelter to play and meet people. They are such fun to watch. When the shelter staff found them and went toward them to try to pick them up, the pups ran right to them. They are friendly little guys who need good homes and someone to love them and keep them safe, not toss them aside. They are cute pups and will be a lot of company and keep you laughing at their antics. Please consider one or both as your new family member.

Act quickly to adopt Kapone. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kapone, a Cottageville Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Cottageville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Cottageville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cottageville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cottageville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cottageville paves the way for another one to be saved.
