Hi there, my name is Flame. I'm a 3 year old, purebred Treeing Walker Coonhound.
I was seized from my owner -along with 29 other dogs- by the pound due to our living conditions and lack of proper care necessary for our well being.
I'm a very sweet, loving and very beautiful girl. I was not treated very kindly, so it takes me some time to warm up and get super friendly with new people, but once I know you I am a great girl once I get to know you. I LOVE other dogs and I am very playful. I am very social with other dogs. I LOVE playing in water and being around other dogs. The other dogs REALLY help bring me out of my shell. Due to my initial shyness and my fearful nature, I should probably go to a home without small children.
I may need some housebreaking and should maybe be crated when you leave the house, at least until you get to know me and my behaviors because some of us coonies are notorious for being naughty.
I need a home with a patient, loving family that will let me live inside the house with them so I can be a part of the family. I deserve that.

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY SPAY SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
