Hello. My name is Stormy. I'm a 3 year old, purebred Black and Tan Coonhound.
I was seized from my owner -along with 29 other dogs- by the pound due to our living conditions and lack of proper care necessary for our well being.
I am a VERY sweet dog. I absolutely LOVE people. I am so very happy when I get attention. I love going for long walks or runs. I would make a great hiking or running buddy.
I love going up in the play yard here at the pound. I also love playing in water and running around with other dogs… preferably females… I can get a bit testy with male dogs.
As you can see in my photo, I look great on the tree. I would love to go to a home that will take me out and pleasure hunt with me, with the luxuries and rewards of being a house dog.
I can definitely hunt! I tree very hard though, so you have to be careful when you go to get me off of the tree when I am in my zone.

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.

MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.

THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
