My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SADIE is an easy going all around girl who can fit in with almost any family of people and/or dogs. SADIE is sweet and affectionate 100% of the time. She loves to cuddle up in her foster dad's lap. She is friendly with all and doesn't feel the need to be the boss. She is a terrific companion for hiking, camping, dogs parks, and romping in the yard. However, her foster dad lives in an apartment, and she is happy as a lark (though she says her very own yard would be nice too). SADIE is gentle, walks well on a leash and is an excellent passenger in the car.
As of 7/4/15 SADIE is around 7 months old, 38 lbs, and has THE MOST BEAUTIFUL green eyes. She is ready to be best friend any child or adult could ever ask for!

SADIE is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations.
Her $450 adoption fee includes interstate health certificate and transport to the Midwest.

All of our pets start their journey in Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted at which time they travel via transport to their new forever home. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters.

Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well educated decision from well qualified staff.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Blues City is operated 100% by volunteers. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
