Moonshine's Story...
We can only think the last owners of Moonshine had to be drunk to just move and leave him behind on the street in Bloomsburg. Luckily their neighbor was a staff member at ARC and brought poor homeless Mooney to the shelter where he was vetted, given shots and neutered. Moonshine easily acclimates to new situations, he gets along with other cats and is very friendly. He would do well with kids as the folks that left him behind had children. We can only imagine they are missing their friend. Their loss can be your gain by adopting this loving, playful, curious and handsome fellow. Moonshine is about 2 years old and has a sleek shiny black coat with piercing gold eyes. He's a real standout.! Moonshine is FeLV/FIV negative, up to date on shot, litter trained, dewormed and neutered. If you are interested in adopting Moonshine please contact Michelle at 570-759-0920.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Moonshine, a Bloomsburg Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bloomsburg, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bloomsburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bloomsburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bloomsburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bloomsburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
