Blossom's Story...
Wow! We have a beauty of a yellow lab up for adoption, meet Blossom! She's such a sweet dog! Loves to be outside to play, but also loves to be inside with her people. She is good with other dogs and children, but not sure about cats. She knows SIT and SHAKE. She does good on a leash. Very laid back and easy dog! Not aggressive with her food at all. Blossom is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and house broken. She's about 1-2 years old. Apply at www.luckylabrescue.comShe can be adopted in Texas, New England and the East Coast.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blossom, a Austin Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Austin, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
