My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello People,
My name is Lucy and I’m a pretty girl who is finally getting to be a young pup at last. My foster Mom says I’m housebroken (she appreciates that!) lovable and that I thrive on attention. When you read my story you will understand why.
You see, I was only a little over a year old when I was attacked by a bigger dog - and taken to a place called a shelter. That was in mid-April. About one week later I was rescued- and became a FurKid. Then a few weeks after that, on April 30th (whew!) I had six puppies. They kept me pretty busy for the next two months, as you can imagine! Now it’s July, my puppies have grown up and I get to be the young, happy girl that I was meant to be.
I have a doggy foster brother who is teaching me to play and romp in the yard. I’m discovering these things called toys (soon I’ll figure out which ones I like best!) I’m also learning how to walk on a leash and ride in the car. (Dad says I was pretty good, too!)
Every day is an opportunity for me to blossom and become the best girl that I can be. In fact my Aunties think that this is the start of the best chapter of my life. So if you are someone who wants to make a real difference in the life of one pup, wants a companion to love and adore you, and you have a bigger FurKid for me to play with and entertain, then let’s get to know one another. As Mom says, the best is yet to come.
