Coco's Story...
Coco is a beautiful girl who is about 2 years old. She is a shepherd mix, but she only weighs 40lbs. She is a very loving dog. She was saved as a stray by a Good Samaritan who took care of her vetting and has taken her in as a foster. Coco is now ready for her forever home. She is house trained and walks well on a leash. She likes other dogs and is eager to please! This girl will make a good companion, camping buddy, running buddy - she is just an all around good dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Coco, a Norwalk Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
