HOMER's Story...

Adorable, sweet and small for his breed, this gorgeous white pit/boxer mix charms all he meets.

Homer loves his toys, car rides, kongs, and loves his humans. He is affectionate, super sweet and smart. His foster mom is teaching him his doggie manners, and he is almost 100% housetrained. He is also getting very good on the leash and he behaves himself in the home. He is fine with dog-friendly cats.

Homer would thrive in an active, loving, caring home, with a guardian who knows and respects the breed, with older kids or no kids. He'd probably do best as solo.

Homer is about 1 1/2 yrs old and weighs about 45 lbs. He is utd on shots and is neutered.

WANT TO MEET HOMER? Please contact and his rescue will get right back to you, thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

HOMER, a New York Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer for sale in New York, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer dog from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
