Dean's Story...
Looking for unconditional love? You’re at the right place!

This adorable kitty came to Friends for Life after his owner passed away. Dean is a very loving kitty. He is docile, kind, loving and has that silly little overbite where you see his 2 canines all
the time. Dean is well mannered, never causes any trouble. He just wants someone to love and chat to about his day!

He gets along very well with other cats so if you have a furry friend at home for him, he would be more than happy to meet a new friend. If you don’t have any other furry friends at home, he won’t mind being the only child getting all the love either!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dean, a Houston Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Houston, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
