Boone's Story...
**Boone is currently living in Houston, Texas and is available for out-of-state adoption.**

Our sweet little Boone is a 17 week old, tan Labrador mix. He is currently 19 pounds and expected to be about 40 pounds as an adult. He is pretty shy at first and likes to get to know his new friends and then he is back to being a normal, cuddly, sweet puppy. He is very inquisitive, loves to be held and loved on and is just the most affectionate little guy. His coat is so soft and you’ll just want to keep scratching behind his ears because he loves it so much. This little guy is going to be the perfect, most loyal companion.
Boone is one of 7 babies that were left in a box of the doorstep of one of our favorite vet's offices when they were just tiny pups. The vet has a huge heart so she took them in, helped them socialize and has taken care of all of their vetting. They are happy, healthy young pups and now they are ready to find their very own families.
Boone plays very well with his 2 siblings that are still also looking for homes. He also hangs out with 3 smaller dogs too, so we know that he will be a great dog park visitor and would love to have a furry sibling. He loves to play and run around in the yard. He’s an active pup and would love an active family to spend his days with. His body style is perfect for hiking, walking, running and lots of cuddles too. He recently met several kids and even a toddler. He didn’t really know what to think of the little girl, but he was very sweet with her too. Boone will be the perfect family dog!
Boone is crate trained well, but still needs some help from her loving, patient new owners in the potty training category and also with leash walking. He is still just a pup and a smart one, so he will catch on quickly. If a puppy basic training class is available, he would be a great participant and would excel!
Boone is precious and he is ready to join his new family and start bonding. His first family abandoned him and we made a promise that we will find the most amazing family for him soon. He is already neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated. If you would like more information or want to add Boone to your pack, please email us at adoptions@reggiesfriends.org. He is currently living in Houston, Texas and is available for out-of-state adoption. His adoption fee is $300 to help cover the costs of his airline flight, travel kennel and bed.
