Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I am a very playful and love dog friends! Fetch is my favorite game. I get so excited to play I sometimes get nippy but I'm gentle! I love attention from people too but it sometimes takes me a minute to warm up to people, especially men. I'm learning that it's okay to be scared and that good people will allow me the time I need to trust.
The Animal Hope & Wellness Foundation rescued me from a very scary place. I was found in a crack house where I was beaten and emaciated weighing only 7 pounds. I'm now about 12! I have trust issues still, and can act timid and afraid of men. I have been fostered out three times to three different families. Each time the families were not patient enough, and I was brought back to the Animal Hope and Wellness Foundation where I still am.
I have really come a long way! I'm very healthy now and more loving toward people than ever!
What Marc wants people to know about dogs like me is that - we are the real dogs that need rescuing. Dogs that lived this tragic life and have struggled through horrific and abusive situations. Dogs that have been beat, mistreated, and really deserve a chance at happiness. Please consider giving me a chance. I am great with kids, and great with women. In time I will learn to love my new dad as well.
