Lady Jane's Info...

I am already spayed, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Lady Jane's Story...
Lady Jane is a year and half old and is the prettiest little girl you’ll ever meet. The most special thing about her is that she is blind – maybe not totally blind, but mostly blind. She is a real rascal, though – runs through the entire hours (hell on wheels!), plays with her toys (of course she prefers toys with bells in them!), knows exactly where her litter box is, and comes running when she hears her food being poured into her bowl.

Janie is a great kitty – she is a fluff-ball, but not a big shedder. She is gray and white, and she’s really beautiful! Janie is totally accustomed to dogs (they never bother her – maybe they know she is a “special kitty”). She is fine with other cats, too –not great buddies maybe, but playful and cute.

Janie loves to sleep on her own chair – she knows precisely how high it is – and never causes any problems. She is just a doll to have around!

Janie needs an indoor home where she can be pampered and loved. She is a little fluff ball and will give you years and years of great joy!

Janie is spayed (of course!) and up to date on all of her shots.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lady Jane, a Poway American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Poway, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Poway.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Poway already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Poway breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Poway paves the way for another one to be saved.
