Sheba's Story...
Name: Sheba
Breed: Beagle
Age: Adult
Gender: Female

Sheba is a 2 year old female Beagle who loves being social... kids, other dogs, strangers, being out and about and part of your adventure with you. Originally an unclaimed stray, Sheba appears to have been cared for at one time. She had accidents the first few days and then had the routine down, crates well for the workday, and is a confident, happy, well adjusted dog. We don't know how she is with cats but she doesn't appear to have a high prey drive with small critters on walks. She'd love a home with a fenced yard or someone to walk her daily. Beagles are not reliable off leash in an unfenced area typically. This pretty pooch welcomes new friends with a wagging tail and a puppy smile.

Requirements: No special requirements

You can email with questions and for a preadopt application. This dog has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated as age appropriate, tested for heartworm disease if age appropriate, and dewormed.

Many thanks to for the fantastic photos of Sheba!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sheba, a Minneapolis Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Minneapolis, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Minneapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
