Snowy's care has been sponsored by a caring supporter of GPRCI. Thank you Jennifer. We have made the decision at her very advanced age, that Snowy not go through another transition and so she will be living her life out with us at the rescue. Snowy now feels very comfortable and safe here at the rescue and it took her some time to reach that point. Being 13.5 years old with the fragility of a Pyr that age, we fear the stress of a move now, after having settled in for several months, may not be in her best interest.
Snowy was born in May of 2002, lived her whole life outside and deserves to live the rest of her life in comfort. She is welcome and loved here at GPRC where she is inside with climate control, carpeted floor, a soft bed and her senior buddies to pal around with. We don't know how long that time is but she is in good health for 13 years old and her petite size has probably helped with her longevity. She still gets around pretty well and is on meds to help her. We will be doing our best to be sure precious Snowy is comfortable, happy and knows she is loved.
