LACEY, 10 y/o female Weimaraner. Lacey's owner, who brought her home when she was a puppy, recently passed away. Sadly, the owner's family could not take Lacey in so they surrendered her to a shelter. Lacey is a wonderful girl. She loves attention and being petted; she is a loyal canine companion, wanting to be with her person no matter what part of the house he/she is in. She is a petite Weimaraner, a little thin by our standards, but at her best weight, she might not exceed 48 lbs. Her size, sweet disposition and the fact she lost her person without warning, melts the heart. Lacey is described as quiet, cuddly, very well trained and mannered, and active. She gets along with other dogs and used to have playdates with the neighbor's dogs. Lacey has had some obedience training and knows basic commands. We have only one picture from the shelter but will take and post more soon. Lacey will get a well-check by the vet and her vaccines will be updated as needed before she is placed.
