Monkey's Story...
Awwweeeee! Monkey! He is uber adorable and about 12-14 weeks old. He is average size for a chocolate lab puppy and ready to go home. LLR was asked to step in when's key and is 3 siblings suffered from a rare but curable disease known as puppy strangles. If left untreated it can be deadly. Fortunate for Monkey and his siblings, they were all treated and okay'd by the docs to be adopted! Now all that Monkey wants is a lovable family of his own! And of course, a nice comfy dog bed and lots of good boy treats. Monkey is crate trained and working on house manners, he is gentle but playful and loooooooves his human attention and loooooooves to be loved on. He is a sweet puppy and appropriately vetted for a puppy is age. He is also microchipped! If you are interested in adopting Monkey, please complete an application for adoption and requests him on the notes section.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Monkey, a Lewisville Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Lewisville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Lewisville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lewisville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lewisville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lewisville paves the way for another one to be saved.
